HM.CLAUSE Launches New Life Science Innovation Center Brand
With a new brand and a new website, life science startups, innovators, and entrepreneurs can now find all the information they need to join the Life Science Innovation Center (LSIC) at its new website www.lsicdavis.com
The HM.CLAUSE-UC Davis LSIC was launched in 2015 with a vision to promote innovation and accelerate the translation of life science research to create impactful real-world solutions. It has been serving its mission of supporting and strengthening the life sciences innovation ecosystem by fostering ground-breaking ideas, inspiring collaboration, supporting entrepreneurship, and driving social and economic impact. To date, LSIC has supported 26 startups who have raised over $25M in funding.
The new logo pays homage to the current HM.CLAUSE logo with the yellow dot as the main shape. The LSIC typography in the logo also hides a beaker and a leaf, two symbols that represent the center’s diverse ability to provide both wet lab and greenhouse working space for tenants.
Having been around for over six years, LSIC needed an updated brand and a new website. The new brand consists of a new logo, new colors, and a new style. The new website (www.lsicdavis.com) features LSIC capabilities, application process, current member highlights, tours (both virtual and in-person) and current news. Applications submitted through the new site are reviewed on a quarterly basis. Apply now to reserve your spot at the LSIC.
HM.CLAUSE is proud of the collaboration with UC Davis that is also an excellent conduit for many startups and an integral component of the innovation ecosystem in the Sacramento Area. With its new website, LSIC can now reach many more innovators and entrepreneurs in Northern California and beyond and provide them with the working space they need to grow their startups.
For LSIC, HM.CLAUSE hosts a dedicated 5,000sf facility at our Davis, California Research Station. The center includes a wet lab, three greenhouse bays, office space, and is well equipped to serve Biochemistry, Cell, and Molecular Biology research, thanks to generous contributions from both HM.CLAUSE and UC Davis. HM.CLAUSE also offers LSIC tenants extensive field trial capabilities.
